Tips for Maintaining Your Chromebook...
1. Conduct a "power refresh" This should be done on a DAILY basis. My suggestion is to do this prior to the start of your first-period class, every day.
2. Update your ChromeOS Please visit THIS LINK to review how to do this and complete the steps as outlined. You may need to do this multiple times, up until ChromeOS version number 86... or until you see something similar to this:
Alternatively, just follow these steps:
Once logged in, select the time in the bottom right corner.
Select Settings .
At the bottom of the left panel, select About ChromeOS.
Under "Google ChromeOS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
Select Check for updates.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
3. Tips for Fixing Common Chromebook Problems Our colleague, Ms. Sarah DelSanto has created "Tips for Fixing Common Chromebook Problems." -- it is encouraged that this is reviewed and the steps are tried prior to seeking out more assistance.
